‹Settings› Settings – Overview

Access settings via the Settings tile on any dashboard or the ‹Settings› icon in the navigation bar.

Settings layout

Settings are arranged as a tile grid. Switch between grid and list view — tap the layout icon in the top right.

Tiles are ordered by frequency of use:

Row Tiles Purpose
1–4 Dashboard, Apple Health, Nutrition, Medications Daily-use areas
5–8 Templates, Community, Language, Mode Configuration areas
9–11 AI & Photos, Data & Diagnostics, Data & Privacy Diagnostics & Privacy
12–14 Other, Input, Help Dashboard + Misc + Help

Nutrition (since v1.8)

From v1.8, the new Nutrition tile consolidates all nutrition-related settings in one place:

Previously (up to v1.7) these were four separate tiles. The new grouping simplifies navigation.

Guided Elimination Diet (since v1.14)

Under Dietary preferences you’ll find the entry point “Start Elimination Diet” — a multi-week, self-configured protocol for structured testing of suspect foods. Since this is an advanced use case, the entry point is hidden in Simple Mode.

Before the first start, the app shows a one-time notice: the protocol doesn’t replace medical or nutritional advice, and omitting foods for weeks can lead to nutrient deficiencies.

Setup guides you through three steps:

  1. Choose suspect foods — you can select more than one; they’re tested one after another, not at the same time.
  2. Set phase duration — for each food you set the start and end dates of the elimination and reintroduction phases yourself. There’s no default duration — roughly 2–4 weeks of elimination and a few days per food for reintroduction are common.
  3. Summary & start — the summary starts the protocol.

While a protocol is running, “My Elimination Diet” shows the days remaining in the current phase. Once enough time has passed, the overview shows possible correlations between the tested foods and your logged symptoms.

Input

The Input tile (previously in the middle of the grid) is now in the last row alongside “Other” and “Help”. Configure how measurements are entered:

Settings tile on the dashboard

Every dashboard automatically includes a Settings toggle tile (gear icon). It not only opens settings, but also shows all your dashboards for quick switching:

Tap → open Settings
Long press → switch dashboard
